Spikes turning black?

I know what you all are thinking, black bearding, but that's not it.
I've recently noticed the tips of Zeus's spikes around his face are turning blackish with a tint of purple/red. Just the tips. And it's really starting to worry me. Also, on of the big spikes on his face, it's gone! Well not completely, but half of it is. And it freaked me out. I'm not able to get a vet appointment for about a week, so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what it could be. I don't have pictures right now, but I will a little later so you can see what I mean. Please help?

Hello,

It would be very helpful to have pictures if you can eventually.
This could be fungal, or it could be retained shed as well. How long has this been going on for now?
What is the humidity in his tank currently?

I'll have pictures up tomorrow. It's been going on since he finished shedding. Actually half of the spike coming off was during his shed. But I don't understand why shedding would make a spike break in half?

As of this moment, I can't tell you the humidity. It broke the other day after my little brother dropped Zeus's rock on it. How he managed that, I don't know v-v lol. I'm going to get another one this weekend so I can tell you then.

Hello,

Great, I am looking foward to seeing those pictures then. :D
The only reason I can think of that he would be losing his spikes during a shed is if the shed was particularly harsh or partially retained.
Are you supplementing calcium on a regular basis & providing UVB lighting?

Sorry for the bad picture, had to use my friends phone. Colors are off, but you can see the spike.

He had been in the process of shedding for about two months. I personally thought it was a LONG time, but I was told not to worry, that it could just be a difficult shed and and to mist and bathe him to help. Your opinion? I would have came on here to ask before, but I had surgery back in October and just now am able to really sit at the computer.

I do supply him with both UVB and Calcium. He has a Reptisun-10.0 and I give him Fluker's Calcium with D3 five days a week, and Herptivite the other two.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
