oh yea and I was looking at the sizes and ages of other beardies on here and I don't think mine are as old as I was told..... I was told that they were 2 months when I got them and I have had them for a month... they are growing but are about 5-6inches long... so im wondering if they are younger then I thought or am I doing something wrong and they aren't growing as fast as they should??? :?:

My sister lives in IL - but at the southern side of the state. I think the weather there is better than the Chicago area ....or at least it seems to be on the Weather Channel LOL.

You can do a search for growth charts - you may be able to get some comparison info from people who have tracked the growth of their beardies ...

ok thanks! and yea the weather sux hasn't been too bad yesterday or today after the rain I just cant wait to be able to bring the kids and beardies out to play with no worries of colds :roll:

ok so I checked a couple charts and I think my beardies are more like 6 weeks old and not 3 months....

ok so today I realized I never posted a pic of the new and improved tank.....this is Sunny's tank and when I get the rest of the décor for Spikes I will post a pic of his....

Looks pretty good! The only big thing is the UVB - looks like you have a coil in there still? That is going to cause problems sooner or later. You need a ReptiSun 10.0 TUBE UVB mounted inside the tank on the back wall.

yea I went and bought the tube light only to come home and stick it in the fixture that decided it didn't want to work anymore...so im working on getting a new fixture
