Everyone has given good advice, I just wanted to add to the handling part. I'm wondering if it would be good to kind of go back to the beginning with her and gain her trust. It was really hard for us not to handle ours for a while, but it pays off in the end. I would say don't take her out of her tank for at least several days. Try approaching her with slow, calm hands to offer her some food by hand. Once she's comfortable with you putting your hands in (she doesn't run or shy away), then you can start taking her out again. But you will need to be as calm and quiet as you can, both when you get her out and while she's out.
I say all this because I have a tween and a teen in my house. ?
