Space between egg laying

I'm wondering if maybe you can help me with something. I've been following your thread and you seem to have some experience with breeding now, and so do other people on this thread... I'm wondering if you can help me with my bearded dragon.. She started laying eggs yesterday at 4:30 in the afternoon. It started out fairly smoothly with the exception that she chose no to lay in her lay box and instead laid in the corner of her enclosure on the flooring (which is vinyl tile). She laid 9 all in a row, but took 2 hours to lay those 9. Then she didn't lay for quite a while but was clearly trying. I put her in the sink in some water to relax her and maybe help a bit. She laid one while in the water. This was around 8:30. She didn't lay anymore before I went to bed at 11. I woke up at 5:30 and she had laid 5 eggs. I gave her another little bath to help her as she's still wiggling like she's going to lay more. She hasn't laid any since and now it's almost 10 am. I'm very worried because I've read it should take them like an hour to lay them all. She hasn't really done anything by the books so far in her 'pregnancy' though. How worried should I be? What should I be doing? How do I know when she is completely done? At what point do I take her to the vet. Help would be GREATLY appreciated as I'm very worried about her immediate health. Thank you to anyone who can help. (Sorry, I dont mean to intrude your thread I just need some help and there are people here that seem very knowledgable).

That video is so cute! You must be so thrilled. I'm sorry to hear about the infertile clutch. :( Good thing you got lots of babies out of the first one, though. Ask Tom from TND, and take her to the vet.

sassyglizzard, I gave you your own thread so that it can get the attention it needs and the other thread can continue where it left off.

Thanks. I already had started a thread but was just looking for info from specific people because nobody seemed to be replying. Now I have a couple threads.. Oops. So my beardie laid another egg today at 10:30 am. I gave her baths throughout the day. She laid one right after a bath around 7:30pm and laid one in the bath at 10:30pm. I can feel more eggs inside of her. I spoke to a vet today and they said the time to get worried is if she hasn't laid an egg for a full day, or becomes less active, very lethargic, etc. She is still very active and isn't stuck on any one particular egg, she just is taking forever. I am monitoring her closely and will hope for the best. With any luck she'll lay a bunch tonight like she did last night. By feeling her I'd say there's probably 3 left. Thank you for replying. I was so concerned today, and am still concerned. This seems to be very abnormal.

I am having the same situation as you now.

She layed about 12 eggs in her lay bin, and covered them up nicely.

I still felt eggs in her.

But I just let them be, then the next day, she layed two, in her tank and the day after that, two more, still on her tank's vinyl flooring also.

I still feel some eggs inside her until now.

She is eating well and pooping also.

I am also wondering what to do. Should I just wait till she lays them all?

She just laid another again at 12:30am. I guess the fact that she keeps laying more is a good thing. muzikfreakah: One thing that I am doing that I am finding to work is giving LOTS of baths, and massaging her tummy very gently. YOu can sort of push the eggs downwards even by barely touching them, they move relatively easy. When i gently massage them downwards, she seems to be able to lay afterwards. I'm basically just giving her bath after bath, and she's laying eggs after them. She refuses to lay in her laybox even still, so I'm just letting her lay on the vinyl flooring. I figure it doesn't matter too much since I'm removing them right away. She is clearly trying to lay another right now as I type this. I will definitely be waiting up for at least this next one. Might just stay up most the night.. lol. How many eggs are you at in total right now, muzikfreakah? 16? I'm sitting at 19. However, she also laid 2 eggs way early 2 weeks ago that were duds. That makes 21. I should be close to the end I think.

Sadly, she has a couple more in her that she really hast laid yet even with the daily morning warm baths. She eats and poops well daily to and looks healthy. Could it be that the eggs arent ready to come yet?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
