In Amusei's condition I'd recommend the softer flooring. Tile is unnaturally hard and may be hard on his joints so you might just want to have him on the terrarium liner/carpet and non adhesive shelf liner. A couple of layers of newspaper under can add a bit more cushion.

Since we have two of the carpet things I put the other one in, but thinking I might even put some newspaper underneath. The last thing I want is for him to hurt himself. He just sat on the pillow today except for when he was out walking. We have carpet in the entire house.
