I'm going to see if I can find a slightly deeper, larger dish to put in his house. And I'm taking the sand out. He parades through his food, and I'm worried he'll eat too much sand and get impacted.

I know, I know. He never threw his food around as much as he has been lately. And now that he likes to swim, the sand sticks and then it gets more and more ein his food

Im my experience sand is incredibly dusty. Keep an eye on your uvb, the dusy will coat it and block some portion of the uvb.

Yeah, I dust it off about once a month. Sand is all removed though. I have tile for him now

I wouldn't make the wster quite that deep. That's just about the depth that Zen aspirated in.

I will remove some water when I get home. I wasn't too sure how deep to put it. I've never seen him drink water except in the bathtub, butaybe it wasn't deep enough for him before.
