So sorry Nox

My baby, Nox, is going to the vet this after noon. I was trying to give her a bath earlier and she rolled onto her back and took her a sec to realize how she was situated then flipped back. I am beyond worried about her at this point, please help reassure me that I am doing everything possible and she will be alright. I have her next to my desk at work cause my fiance is picking her up to take her to the vet and I look at her and a tear builds in my eye cause she looks so helpless and tiny. I love all my lizards and can't think, "well if I lose this one then I have two more." My dad had the nerve to say that to me. This is my baby dragon. Any reassurance would be helpful to get my mind off the worst.

Im sending good thoughts to u and nox. I hope the trip to the vet went well and they were able to give you an answer. Some little dragons don't thrive despite great care...so I hope you don't you have done anything wrong. Little nox is lucky to in such a loving home. Good luck again and I hope she pulls through for you.

My baby passed today not too long ago. It is even more difficult on me because she died in my hands and I feel like her last moment were hell. She threw her head back, mouth gaping, seized for a couple seconds, and went totally limp. I wish I felt like I really did everything I could, but with that last act I feel like I really let her down. I feel terrible. I just want my little baby back and right now she only looks as if she is sleeping in a container, never to wake again. I didn't have her long, but she was the perfect dragon in terms of color, but I wish I had more time with her as a healthy dragon so I could have know who she really was. I don't know how I will be able to handle being on the forums for the next couple days, I never could have guessed I would be hit this hard.

I am so sorry about Nox. I was hoping the vet would be able to help. Know you have done everything you could for her and
that she was lucky to have someone who loved her so much. Also know that it helped her to have someone like you to
hold her and love her as she passed. We should all be that lucky. You did a great job with her and I know you will miss her.

Trying to lift your spirits, being open minded, I am sure your dad meant for the best in all aside. Focus on your 2 and love them with everything. You did everything you could. realize this and let go and grab onto the 2.

I'm sorry, It is my opinion that Nox wasn't very healthy to begin with.

Thank you for the kind words, I am going to contact the breeder, but he did say that darker dragons are harder to raise and he sent me Ember with Nox, i guess knowing that it was a higher possibility of one of them doing well.

Anyway, my dragons had to have known that something was wrong,

They formed a heart for me, these are my two dragons that I know love me, and no one can say that they are just dumb lizards. I know that they feel the same as we do. that's why they cop an attitude when we don't give them enough attention, and that is why they both fell asleep on me at seven,which is way before their bedtime. They knew I needed their love.

She will be missed, but never forgotten. Nox, daddy will always love you and I hope you found your eternal hammock.

I really want to thank everyone for the kind words. It is thanks to this community that I can allow my baby to rest forever in my heart and not in tears. I hate the feeling I get of trying to replace her, cause starring at the empty tank does not help at all, but it isn't replacing her, just filling the actual whole in my life. She was a great, strong little one that just didn't have enough to compensate over the stress of her trip. I know she had a unique coloring, but if anyone sees anything similar, please inform me. I am having my baby cremated and put into a locket at this time since I don't have anywhere to bury her. And besides, I would love to hold my baby close all the time. It is amazing how the love of strangers really helps a broken heart.

thanks for the heads up. I'm trying smaller crix today as well as still going with the dropper. she is still active. i'm really hoping that she is just trying to settle.

I have a lovely girl dragon who looks just like yours. When she was younger she would not eat crickets at all. I was quite worried so switched to Grasshoppers. This did the trick and now she is bigger she eats the Crickets as well and devours Meal worms and her Salad.
Just a thought!
