Small size

Ive been seeing bearded dragons that are 18 inches and just 11 months old but my dragon speedy is 7 years old and only 16 inches and slimmer than the others I see he eats every day has a big belly is he just small for his age or is there something wrong?

some bearded dragons dont seem to get very big. my first one i had only got to 17"

Thank you I had one a few years back and he got to 26" he died of old age
