Slight redness on finger

Hello Our bearded dragon has been shedding the last several days. Today I noticed he has a little redness on his little finger. It isn't swollen and he seems to be using fine. Could he have injured it while rubbing himself on his basking log or rock? His temps are 105 at the highest basking spot and 80 in cool side. He is eating less then normal,but still good. Could I put peroxide or neosporin on it to keep it from getting infected?

Hmm I don't see any harm in the redness but you might want to put some neosporin or something on it. Has she been around any spiders or bees, etc.?

No not that I know of,Spike is never outside. We never leave crickets in with him. It does look less red today,but I will try bathing him and applying a little plain neosporin.We'll keep an eye on it. Thanks so much!

Update: Spike's finger is fine. I believe I found the culprit,his new multi vitamin supplement powder made by National Geographic. I prepared his veggies and sprinkled his calcium and vitamin and gave it a spritz of water. I later noticed his food dish had red specks through out and stains on the dish. I tested some in a clear glass & added water : Yes you guessed it,the water turned red. Wow!! Has anyone used this brand? I may use this up and go to another brand. I am glad it wasn't anything serious after all.
