I have had my beardie for almost a year now and she is my whole world! I have a photo of her right here , and my problem or well my concern is her lips. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2hgzmut&s=7
She always breathes with her mouth sort of opened as you can see right there, its like she never fully shuts her mouth. I know we all have our own quirks but it worries me because the last week me and my boyfriend moved 3 hours away and she is in a new home, and she has been doing some bigger mouth breathing actions. Such as if she is out of her cage she will begin to mouth breathe with her mouth wide open for about 30 seconds then quit. When she was a couple of months old she was put on baytril for having a respiratory infection problem, and I am so afraid this could be happening again? I think the thing I fear the most is the fact I could literally not rush her to the vet even if I had too, I am so very poor right now and its paining me to fear the worse.
Does any one have any suggestions for her? The most I have been able to do is give her reptaid - does any one know if that actually helps?
I appreciate the input so much , thank you all so much.
