Well, the fiance and i changed tango's indoor/outdoor carpet this week. It was brown but since Lowes was out of brown we had to get the green. Well The first couple of days we had it I would come how to the carpet all out of wack as if hes been pulling on it. Well I couldnt figure out what he was doing when I was gone b/c seriously if I look at him and hes doing something bad he'll stop immediately. Well, one night I was laying on the bed and he couldnt see that I was watching him and he biting the carpet trying to eat it, and thats when it hit me he sees the green and thinks its food!! duh!! well ive been the parinoid mom of corse and has been watching his poo, the future hubby told me ohh he'll be able to pass it since its little strings but of corse i brought up the subject they can get impacted so on so on. so today he pooped and i immediately picked it up and looked at it and of corse theres little green pieces of the carpet along with very very little red stuff which appears to be blood but im not sure. i know this is going to sound gross but the stool was bigger than normal so could it just be like humans when we have a big BM there is a little blood? im going to continue to watch it and if he does it again ill take him to the vet its just that she charges ALOT and right now money is tight. any opinons would be appreciated.

**btw he seems normal. active, eats alot, good color etc.

Hello,

So he ate some carpet huh? Yes, that can impact them for sure. I would increase his oral fluids for a week or so to help his system out. Is he eating pretty well right now?
Maybe give a drop or two of olive or mineral oil to help his system out too. You can mix that with squash babyfood & give that to him daily, along with his feeders & greens & veggies.
How much blood was present?

Hello,

How is your dragon doing today? Has he had any more blood with his stools?
If he was dehydrated then he might have strained a little when he went to the bathroom which could have caused a little bit of blood. Let me know how he is doing.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
