Sleeping Beardie Pictures

I thought it would be fun to start a thread so that people could post pictures of their sleeping bearded dragons. I know my little Pip has very unusual positions and her latest is hillarious. I don't know if its smart to disturb your bearded dragon while they are sleeping but they usually don't mind when I snap a couple pictures of them. They don't even stir so I am sure it doesn't hurt them any. Well here goes the first couple of pics:

I don't understand how this is comfortable...

And my rescue Crystal is sleeping on top of her waterbowl....

I love seeing the sleeping positions and spots that my little buddy Rocko chooses. Some of them look very relaxing while others seem just downright impossible to sleep in! Most of the time when he cannot fall asleep next to me out of the viv he likes to find a corner and snuggle up, but he gets a little crazy sometimes. Here are a few of my favorites.

Looks so comfortable and peaceful inside his cave! Just recently he has started using it during the day and at night.

He has also started to use his hammock to sleep on at night.

Came home one night to find this. Doesn't look like the most comfortable to me, but he seemed to be enjoying it. This is the only time I have found him asleep vertically though.

Probably my favorite spot I have found him go to sleep. Had him on a desk with a lot of paper and receipts on it. He was running around underneath them... then I moved a piece of paper and found this! Lazy!!!

Last night he slept with his head in the corner on the hammock and back legs and tail hanging off at the end, but I did not take a picture of that one. Looked somewhat comfortable all stretched out, LOL!

great idea for a thread. i love seeing all the weird places they find to sleep. i've only taken one picture of falkor sleeping so far - he normally sleeps up on his branch all sprawled out, but this one was just so weird and cute, i couldn't pass it up.

well, i spoke too soon. i just got up to check on falkor, and what did i see? him sleeping in another odd position - so naturally, i had to take pictures of it. silly little guy.

So cute I love it. I liked them all! I love coming home late at night and seeing them in all their cute little positions. I have four of these awesome guys. Last night came home to Cagney in the tree. I didn't take a picture but it looked like he was smiling and he had his arms underneath his chin it was pretty cute. Pip slept her usual way vertically haha. Keep them coming guys I love this.

I have yet to catch Sol in any strange positions...he seems to enjoy the classic gut resting stance. He uses the log in his viv as a bed and crams himself into the corner...thats when I know he is sleepy and ready for bed. He has also taken to snuggling and lazing around in his blanket. I found him like this this morning, awake before I was and in the exact same position I last saw him last night.

The blanket is just a few yards of fleece from Hobby Lobby...it was only about three dollars!

I think that is adorable. I love it when the legs are tucked in underneath. here are a few more pictures of my guys.

Cagney he was bobbing his head right before I turned the lights off and he didn't move from this position lol.

I think Pip thinks she is a gecko its funny cuz she is off the ground.
