Slate Tiles

So I've read that slate for substrate will naturally trim a bearded dragons nails. I was wondering where could I get them? Just at Home Depot? Also how would I fit it into my cage? As they slates on the website are specific sizes like 12x12 Sorry if I sound like a noob but meh >_<

Home depot or lowe's. The are really inexpensive I think for a 4x4 floor I paid $17. I went to lowe's they cut them to my exact measurements.

I think he meant a 4 foot x 4 foot.

I bought 3x6 inch slate tiles at lowes and lined a 10 gallon tank for about 5 bucks and about to do the same thing with a 40 gallon repti tank

It's totally inexpensive. I did a 40gal in slate for like 12 bucks. Looks nicer too.
