Sitting with mouth open?

So for the last day or so more often than not whenever my beardie is in his tank while sitting on his log his mouth is kind of open maybe 1/4 the way... Is this normal? Is he mad? I did recently change him from a 20gal long tank to the crossfire set up.... using Reptasun bulb basking area is like 112 F and he is about 2 and half months old..... any suggestions?

This is to help them regulate heat. much like a dog panting. if this is on his basking spot it is definitely ok. but if its in the colder areas it should be looked into.

Ok that's kind of what I thought but just wanted to be sure since I am so new to the whole thing... Yes it is under his basking light while perched on his log

Try to get your temps to about 110! You can lift the bulb up some so it gets cooler! Also how are you measuring the temps?

It's hovering around 108 now and I am using a zilla thermometer with the 2 probes 1 for temp 1 for the humidity since lowering the temp he has seemed to stop from what I have been able to see
