I went to petsmart today just because I ran out of food for Daisy and Cosmos and didnt feel like going to my local reptile store like I normally do. So I went and walked by the reptiles and they had a beautiful leatherback for $55. I so I bought it. I thought it looked a bit different. I am pretty sure its a silkie. No scales are raised. It is very soft.I have a leatherback male so I would what they feels like. This new one feels very very soft. Here is a pic. It looks like raised scales in one pic but they arent.

Hi Brittany, very cute baby ! Definitely not a silkie, but it's a very smooooth leatherback, some are even called micro leathers due to the very small scales + side spikes which your baby has.Silkies have no scales at all, just skin. I can say 100 % not a silkie.
