There's this silkback on fauna classifieds that's pulling at my heartstrings. I want it sooo bad and I have no idea why. I'm completely happy with Khan. I think there's something about the way she looks that's so buttery and adorable. The worst part is I asked if he would take payments and he said yes but then he hasn't gotten back to me yet!! AHHHH!

Anybody wanna chip in and help me get this butterball?
No, no, jk. She's so expensive anyway (I think she's overpriced). I'm just trying to get it out of my system.

I know exactly what you're going through. I was browsing the "for sale" board looking at all the cute little babies when I came across the sweetest looking translucent girl. I don't know WHY, but I needed that dragon. Even though I had just gotten Gatsby, I just couldn't imagine not getting her. I've never had anything like that happen before.

...So, now I have her :lol:


Hopefully he gets back to you soon so you don't go completely crazy with anticipation!
She's an extremely gorgeous dragon, by the way. Good choice!

I know how you feel. I saw a baby beardie when i was picking up my crickets tonight and i soooooo wanted him- he spied my box of live food and followed me so i stood for ages talking to him whilst he tried to get through the glass to my food. then i remembered my pride and joy at home and felt guilty!

I have a feeling that he's not the original breeder. There's a post from baltimorebeardies selling a 6 or 7 inch silkie that looks like the younger version of this one. Maybe it is?? Who knows.

We had good times, but now it just sits in my room, longing for the road. I live on a ranch with a gravel road, and I don't get to the city enough to use it anyway.

Hey, meant to ask ... do you go to Davis, by any chance? Saw your location and thought I remembered a post that you were studying animal sci, maybe? Just curious - I'm a former Aggie, though it's been (cough) 17 years (cough).

Haha, you caught me! I am an Aggie, studying Animal Biology with an emphasis on waterfowl (I looove ducks). I'm graduating on stage at xmas time but I still have 2 classes left after that, then freedom! Err, wait... Gradschool!! mmm... doesn't sound as good. But anyway, it's nice to hear from a fellow aggie! Do you still live in the area?

And your right, the beardie will most likely give me loads less scrapes and bruises than the longboard did
