I am sorry for your loss, but not at all surprised. I would return anything she touched as well, as ADV is very easy to contract. Just start all over.
Like I said, this wasn't your doing. They come in sick from the suppliers. All I can say is please be aware that pet stores, unless a "mom and pop" type shop, all source from mills. The biggest suppliers being Sandfire (PetSmart) and Reptiles By Mac (Petco). I would gladly pay more money for a well cared for animal and whose breeders are checked for parasites and disease and genetics are tracked, than get a cheaper one that came from a mill/pet store. If you can, it's best not to support that kind of business. The animals suffer immeasurably at mills, all for the sake of a low price and convenience. Bearded Dragons are all over Craigslist and similar websites. Maybe check there instead? So many animals need homes and you would not BELIEVE the amount of dragons kept on sand with only a heat lamp and no UVB that I see on Craiglist. Poor babes.
If you want, you can also call PetSmart's help line and file a report on the death of your animal. When I worked at a PetSmart, I made my manager adopt a leopard gecko out to me for free because he was disgustingly thin. He died the day after I got him, so I called and filed a report on the abuse at the mills they supply from. You can do the same, and let them know you won't be buying from the company again until they stop supporting such inhumane and cruel practices. The reptile supplier video Peta released will break your heart. I worked at a Petco when they released those videos and Petco retracted their contract the DAY that video came out. Just look up Peta Petco on YouTube and you'll find it.
