The x-rays may help show if the issue is muscle/tissue based or skeletal. The blood work will help show what's going on with organ function and may be able to show if the issue is similar to gout or arthritis. The antibiotics may be helpful if the issue is infection, but unless a test was done to indicate that I would be wary as well because overmedicating can have negative effects on kidneys and liver.
