Thanks for posting that video of Hermie. She looks very active and happy, I'm so glad to see that! You're doing a wonderful job with her =). Nammer's tail looks like it's crimped but no open wound which is good. I would just keep it clean and leave it alone for the most part unless you start to see an open area or anything suspicious beyond the crimped bit.

You are right! No open wound thankfully! :)
I posted yesterday as well w/ other video and pics - bottom of page 19 in case you missed them.
I was told by the dragon sitter that one uvb wasn't working so I put them in a divided cage... But the bulb just needed an adjustment and now they are both in their own 36" cages again. I redecorated hermies cage - will post pics soon.
Gnight!

Hello Gabrielle,

They both look great & very happy, too.
Poor Nammer's tail, it will probably eventually fall off but it wont affect her at all unless it got infected which I doubt it will.
Hermie's is looking good, her wound continues to heal up nicely. The skin sure has filled in finally.
Her poor mouth, that is a growth on her gum right? Is there anything that they can do for that, remove it, etc?
At least though she is eating well. Has she grown in length some, it looks like she has?
Is Nammer eating a lot too?

I am happy that they are both doing terrific right now. You have certainly had your work cut out for you with them but just kept on plugging. I know that they are appreciative. :D

Nammer wants to play with Hermie :)

Hermie's mouth is improving. I am putting the colloidal silver on it. I swear that bug-de-lite colloidal silver cures just about everything!

I took out the wallpaper that was between the two panes of glass that separate their tanks. And they've shown a lot of interest in each other.... As the video shows…

I'm wondering if I can remove that glass and somehow join the two tanks and let them go back-and-forth after Hermie's fungal spots are gone. ??

Have a great weekend.

dragons do so much better kept alone in general. If it's too males definitely don't, if it's a male and female you will have problems plus mating, which seems a bad idea if they are both unwell, two females can occasionally co-exist, but often one becomes dominant to the detriment of the other. Plus you would have to be 100% sure the Yf was gone and monitor closely (I'd still advise against it)

How big would the viv be?

They are both girls. The Vivs together would be 72" long, 18" high, 18" deep. I wouldn't do it unless Hermie was perfectly well and I would start with supervised visitation :)

Edit: my hubby and daughter named them herman and Nammer before we knew they were girls.

Hello Gabrielle,

Wow, so that seems to be helping her mouth now also? Is the swelling going down some? I am glad it is helping out so much!
Be mindful of them being together so one doesn't try to dominate over the other. That will be a huge tank though for them both, that is great! When do you plan on doing supervised visits?
I am happy things are going so well right now, keep us posted on them both. :D

We won't do "supervised visits" until hermie's all clear. No schedule in mind. Here are some pics from this morning of her mouth.

She's eating carn care with spirulina in it.

Hello Gabrielle,

Poo girl! So is the swelling going down yet for her? Does it seem to bother her too?
At least she still eats well & has been active also!
Oh ok, so the visitation will wait then. Sure, that is a good idea. The tanks are terrific, they look very happy in there & they are bright also!

It's pretty amazing at how that dragon is thriving despite all of the health problems with her skin. :) And the fact that she has a good appetite and looks bright eyed is a real testament to your dedication to helping her ! If I could point out one thing, the colloiidal silver can be somewhat toxic if ingested. Something that would be better for her mouth [ you probably know what I'm getting to, lol ] is to put raw honey from a health food store or beekeeper [ or Tracie sells Manuka honey] It's great for healing + tissue granulation and is not toxic, no possible side effects.

Hopefully your girl will continue to improve !

Hello Gabrielle,

No worries, she is using the ionic/colloidal silver we designed so it should not be toxic in small amounts especially if not used for long term. We designed it for oral use.
True, the manuka honey would be helpful on that type of wound as well.
Keep us posted on them both!

Thanks Sounds good! She shows no signs of any toxicity thankfully so I didn't think she was ingesting/absorbing too much. SHe's actually very feisty and still our Squirmy Hermie!

Thanks!

Hello Gabrielle,

Now that is funny, Squirmy Hermies. LOL :D
How is she doing today, still being feisty?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
