Hey guys,
Soo.. Chace seems to by a shy eater now for some reason, he used to eat out of tweezers and used to run over to the salad bowl pretty much as soon as i put it in his viv.

Now he seems to only eat when im not there.
As he went off crickets, i got some woodies and tried them.
(I recently had this big ordeal about him not eating for a week, but since worked out that he is a "shy eater")

So as woodies run around like crazy! and climb up everything, and as he wont eat out of the tweezers or if i put a live one near him, i crush their heads a bit and then put them in Chace's viv, so they are deadish, (still moving around a little)

I set up a camera on the guy to see if he eats them, and well after 3 mins of leaving him alone he would go and eat them all up.

Im just wondering why you guys think he has gone all shy? And if there is another way of feeding him the woodies, as crushing heads is very time consuming, lol
Ive recently put him into a different room, and also have his viv up on a stand, Could this have something to do with it?
(Moved his viv around a 4 days ago.)

Cheers

You know, if you moved his viv around, he could be stressed out about that? Some beardies don't like anything to change and get all mad when it does. Be thankful he's still eating!! I'll bet he'll eventually return to normal when he gets over you disturbing him. Let me know how he's doing!
Umm... call me dumb, but what are woodies?

I was thinking the same thing, its just annoying how i have to kill the woodies first.
