Should I be concerned?

This AM I fed Zilla some hornworms. I thought that he had eaten all of them but apparently I missed one that had gotten loose and was hiding in his viv. Later in the day I saw a hornworm sitting on Zilla's tail. I'm afraid that the hornworm was munching on his tail. Should I be concerned? I'm not sure how much hornworms chew or how strong of a bite they have. This hornworm was quite big. I'm worried that something might happen to Zilla's tail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As long as you don't see any wounds or blood on zillas tell everything should be fine.

No he will be fine.Hornworms are not big fans of beardies as food.More likely he was just using him as a platform to hang around on.

Thanks for all of your help. He appears to be fine. The tail is showing no signs of an open wound or infection. But... since he's my baby, I've made a long overdue vet appointment for him anyway.

you could always just remove the hornworm.
