Hi everyone! Hope you and your Beardies are doing good.
I have a few pictures of Gonzo and wondered if white is common shedding. Friday her legs and tail turned totally white. Her whole front legs, her whole tail, and her back legs looks like she has socks on. I tried to get the best pictures I could. She has never turned white before. Also, Her body, other than her tail and feel has not shed since July. Is this normal for the body to never shed even though she is growing? I It looks like a lot of yellow is showing through her head and if she ever sheds there she may be a pretty yellow color. Will her body eventually shed also or is she done shedding. She is only about 8 months.
Also, she had a vet visit on Monday and had her xray. Even though not pooping for 3 weeks she was not impacted. He did get her to go to the bathroom. The doctor also said he didn't see any eggs either. He said there is an area where they might be starting but only blood work would show for sure. we are going to keep and eye on her. He let me take a picture of the xray. So cool to have.
Maybe she is not going to poop as much anymore. Even giving regular warm baths today was the first day she pooped since the vet visit on Monday. It was a lot also.
The one picture is of her in the bath. Right now we do it in the 10 gallon tank she initially lived in. Cant believe she was so small that this tank was the right size for her. Oh how they grow.
