Shedding

Buddy is shedding for the first time since I got him. I was looking around and the only thing I found was to put them in a hot bath and basically just rub the area to help the shedding process. Here's my problem number one he is shedding by his front elbows everything lower is already new skin. The rest of him is a grey color. One thing Buddy hates is his arms being touched. I can touch him ANY where else but he let's me know not to touch him on his arms. Looking at them he looks like he has never had an injury on them no swelling or discoloration no cuts or anything of that nature. So I need another avenue. Do you help your beardie shed or let them do it on their own?

Hello,

If he doesn't like to be disturbed on the areas he is going to shed, then as long as he doesn't seem to be having any trouble then you can just let him shed it on his own. If baths don't bother him then you can bathe him which can help with rough areas for shedding.
I think he will be just fine getting it off himself though. A lot of us like to help, only when it is easily coming off though.
