Shedding = grumpy/small appetite

So Darwin is shedding for the first time since i have had him. Today i notice he doesnt want to be held and has only eatin about four reptiworms and a few good bites of his veg. Could this change in appetite and attitude just be from his shedding? His tank temps are 107 basking 75-85 in the cool end and he has a good ubv tube fixture.

The shedding could definitely be the issue. When my beardies shed it's like they are PMSing they get grouchy, they don't eat, i don't know what's worse, their time of the month or my GF's.

..well all the girls here will now be respectful when their dragon starts shedding. Might even have a girl talk and try to figure out who has it worse.

I do notice that my dragon and other reptiles eat less when they shed. I guess it can't feel nice feeling too big for your own skin. Think about when people don't feel well. don't eat and can be in a bad mood...Pms..
