shed box

hey guys i just got a leo and i know ur supposed to have a humid shed box for them. is it ok to put i moist paper towel in there or do i have too have moss

I don't know about paper towels... they might not get the humidity high enough and they'd need to be replaced every 3 days or so.
I used coconut bedding. It's $4 for a bag at my local herp store and that's a large plastic ziploc bag, fairly well puffed. I can't even imagine how many hides I could get out of it... I think a ton.
I don't really track it, cause I'm making two humid hides and a then using it as substate for my golden gecko.

yeah paper towels are fine just you have to mist them more like twice a day.

for my humid box i use moss and spray it every other day at least, and when one of the geckos is about to shed i really spray it down good and make sure i keep it wet. i also spray the whole tank (just with a quick mist) to raise the humidity.
