Shed and Vivs

I'm putting up a 12 ft by 8 ft shed this month, with running water and electricity.

I am just wondering what I should do in the winter, it gets to at least 0 Celsius here and I want to know what the best method is for keeping them all warm enough, especially overnight.

Are electronic space heaters a good, economic choice?


Also I plan on building vivariums and need to know a few things.

What is the smallest height a decent beardie viv should be, i'll be making them all 4 ft long by 2 ft deep but want to know the best height.

Also I want to know where to get the best building materials here in the UK if anyone can help?

I see a lot of people with lights at an angle, how would I go about this?

Are you keeping your BD(s) in the shed?
A BD requires at least 95degrees for their basking area. For proper digestion. It the temps drop below 65 degrees then additional night time heating is needed. Most people use a CHE (ceramic heat emitter) in that case.
A viv should be about 18" high, perhaps 16" but I wouldn't go any lower myself.
Angled lights are usually due to the fixture. Like one like this:

Gonna be a viv shed, will eventually have about 12 4ft vivs in there.
