What is up with that.I picked her up and she went to bolt so I put my hand in front of her to stop her and she bit my hand...LOL..It didnt hurt but shocked me as I thought these guys were supposed to be pretty mellow.
Anyone else ever been bit??

I think she is still trying to adjust to the new cage. She did take some mealies while she was out on the bed so she cant be that scared.

I've been bit before, by a ticked off adult male. It does happen sometimes and what probably happened with your girl is when you put your hand in front of her, she got startled.
Don't take it personal and if she tries to bolt again, be cautious about sticking your hand in her face.

Yah i've been bit a couple times by my younger dragon. Once when he was trying to eat a silver christmas ball. I picked him up as he was going for another bite at it and he got me instead and once he thought my red toenail polish was food lol. But my older boy bit me a few weeks ago. He was head bobbing because he could see the younger one in his tank lol and as i went to scoop him up (one hand under his bum and one went in front of his face to go under his chest) he bit me really quick. He was startled by the movement infront of his face. Don't let it bother you too much, sometimes they just get spooked. As long as she's not Trying to get you lol i wouldn't worry :)

My male dragon bit my 13 yr old son on his lip lol but it was his own fault. Shep was black bearding and head bobbing because he saw Spirit by accident and my son picked him up and put him up to his face to try to soothe him. Shep nipped his lip but it did not draw blood or even hurt much. It was just a shock that Shep bit.

Sometimes when i put a bowl of mealworms in the tank, my Beardie Jackie tries to eat it before i've let go. She misses the bowl and gets me  She is so clumsy

This has happened to me too..
I ended up feeding Anor and he wasn't trying to bite me as much.
I put one of my shirts in his tank today and won't pick him up until saturday to see how he's doing.

Good luck!

this is off topic but if shes not an adult you shouldnt be feeding her mealworms. my beardie also bit me but i think it was weird cause i stop feeding her mealworms and others insteadnow. she hasnt shown aggression toward me since so i think the mealworms might be upsetting her stomoch cause they have hard shells and a certain chemical (natural) thats not good for young beardies.

Whats really surprising is that they don't bite more often. Compared to other reptiles, beardies are downright comatose!

Trust me, when they mean to do damage they can do damage - my male once escaped his tank while I was cleaning it and pounced on my female, who was wandering around on the floor. He gave her a 'love bite' on her leg, to which she responded with a much more vicious bite. I intercepted it with my hand, and she ended up biting my fingernail in half. The resulting scream caused my male to let go and stare. Needless to say, I have a lot more respect for how fast a love-struck dragon can move.

Basically, the point of the story is that if your dragon meant to hurt you, she could have. It sounds like she was just a little startled

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
