So my colony is begining to thrive. I have had many many many new additions to the bin in the past few weeks. With that said, I was looking forward to separating the small nymphs from the breeding adults this weekend using the bucket method that Ian (TheRoachRanch.com) explains in his video. I was getting a roach out today for Mia and when I opened the lid to the bin, there were at least 4-5 females with their sacks out, rotating or whatever. Will this weekend's plans have a negative effect on these pregnant females? Will they get too stressed out if I poor them all into buckets and sift them around a bit?
If I had to play my odds, I'd rather let them birth my new babies before, but when will be a good time. I have over 100 adults and too many females to count and I'm sure there is not really any time where this won't be a factor.

Any advice is appreciated.........

Thanks Lance! I've been reading posts since early this year and I have to say, you know your roaches!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
