WOW! Given all of the illnesses your family's going through, you sure out did yourself. The card looks great! Sorry you had to start over with smaller images though.

Diane, thank you so much for keeping us updated on Vicky's healing progress. I'm sure she was very happy to speak with you.
What a nice surprise that James' teachers showed up at the house with a complete Thanksgiving dinner for them. I probably would've cried my eyes out over the gesture.

yup, we've got a UVC wand for sterilization (hubby allergic to molds/dust so it helps him when we change out clothes for the seasons), and I wanted to make sure the card wasn't a carrier. I know that sounds anal, but I just had to for my peace of mind!!!

Actually, the pictures of each dragon are still about 3"x3" -- and all the pics were prepared on the larger version, I just had to break them down into 11x17's to print, then cut & scrapbook. It was enjoyable, and Crash watched me pretty much the whole time. Psycho on the other hand wants to know who all those other dragons are, he thinks I'm a traitor now.

Dawn, that looks wonderful! I see my babies (my girls) on the upper left of the card. Thanks for doing this. You must like scrap booking. When you enjoy something, it's fun not work.

BTW: That's a good pic of you, Dawn. My husband, Bill, wants to know if that's your real hair? He said it looks like a wig (or a silly hat) in the bottom pic. If you can't tell, yet, he has a knack for getting into real trouble, without even trying. I'll have him post some stories in beardie tales later this weekend.

Haa haa Lori, the wind hit us from behind just as my husband took the picture, and it needs cut again anyway, so it looked extra fluffy. Tell Bill if I was closer to AZ I'd give him raspberries ttthhhhhpppppttttt! Yes, that is my real hair, and I have actually lost 1/2 of it already after my Thyroidectomy.

Since that surgery, it has been turning very very bright silver. Not gray. Not white. Shiny Silver eh-gads. I'm only 44!!! And I hate hate hate pics of me. That's why its a rarity when you see me in the pics -- I hate my own mug! :shock: I just look "old" now in photos. Although I do like the first picture. I guess maybe if I don't smile the pics aren't so offensive to me? :dontknow:

Diane -- it takes way more than that to make me give up... where there's a will, there's a way. There's also 5 different ways to do everything, so I am used to climbing roadblocks to see what's on the other side. :mrgreen:

Dawn, Bill's hair has been turning gray since we first met, 28 years ago. He's almost totally gray now. The only time I see black in his hair is when we are showering. Thanks for sharing that pic of you, I disagree with you, I think you look good.

Dawn, that card is just awesome & you look great, it was so good of you to take pics to show us what you produced. Vicky is going to just love that card. As far as your hair, I envy you it's abundance, mine is so thin it's ridiculous, but that's menopause (or mentalpause as I call it) for you. My sis also went silver early, she just turned 50 this year and has been silver for 10 years. My hair's turning silver, too, but not as much as Gail's. My mom was silver at 35, so it's not uncommon. I really appreciate your idea and your hard work, it's a unique card! I wanted to wish you and your family a great Thanksgiving weekend & sorry to hear of the illnesses your family's going through.

VICKY, the latest news is terrific, you're healing up so well. I know it's taking a long time, but you were so sick for awhile before you were diagnosed, you're doing so well. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
