Sealing

We have these nice, big pieces of driftwood for Toothless and novas tank but we want to seal them, so they dont get spliters or anything like that. What's the safest thing we can use to seal them, besides modgepodge. (If we can even use that, I thought I saw we could use that, but I'm not sure)

I just baked my driftwood to kill off germs and then sanded them smooth as needed without sealing. Polyurethane works well for coating/sealing wood though.

We don't have a way to bake it, we tried. 😅 to kill germs, we did the soaking in bleach water for 24 hours then soaking in clean water for another day or two then sitting it in the sun for another day or two and that worked. For some reason, I didn't even consider sanding.😂😂
