I currently have non adhesive self liner as my substrate. I want something better looking and something more fun. I had sand before and he loved to burrow in it. So now I want to get some non silica play sand. Could someone give me links or good brands of non silica play sand.

Can you bake sand in the oven to disinfect it? What other sand like substrates are good?

hello.

first how old is ur beardie? if he is under a year sand is a no no cuz, they lick everything in sight and could eat some.
adult don't do this as much but some messy eaters would eat some while trying to get a bit os salad that fell outta the bowl or somthin

if you wanted something better than shelf liner try slate tile which it good cuz it keeps the nails down and hold heat for a long time after light out.

i don't recommend sand for anyone.

or you could use reptile carpet

hope this gave you some other ideas!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
