Crazy video.

I looked into getting red runners, as I was interested in how quickly they bred. But when I weighed the pros and cons decided to stay with dubia. These guys are quick and they drop their egg casings. I also spoke with a few insect breeders that said they tend to stink a bit more than dubia too. If you decide to get some I'd be interested in your experience.

I have read they can survive in your house if some escape. I may still get a few for feeders until my dubias are established.

Ive tried them, and yes as feeders they are GREAT!, however, they can breed in cooler temps and you will loose a few during feeding, and you will start finding more than a few in a couple weeks. I no longer use them due to the fact they can survive in cooler temps and thrive.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
