Running back and forth

So for awhile now, whenever I'm in my room, Mohinder runs in front of the glass back and forth and head bobs into the glass in the corners and gets himself all stuck in his basking spot until I pull him out to let him run around my room. I thought this was just normal behavior and nothing to worry about (I mean, I would get a little stir crazy too if I was in there too much) but I keep reading about that as warning signs of gravid females. I'm pretty sure Mohinder is a male and he only ever does it when I'm in the room (I never walk in and he's already doing it, unless I was just in my room within 5 minutes prior). Does this sound like him being stir crazy, or gravid? Thanks in advance!

Hi there. I know nothing about gravid females, but I had to comment anyway because Mohinder's behavior sounds exactly like what my Beans was doing about a week after we got him (he's three; we adopted him in September). He would pace at the glass and bump his nose on it, claw at it, and just generally act like he wanted OUT. He only did this when I was in front of his tank - not my husband or my two boys, just me. I posted about it, and someone on this site said it sounded like he just wanted to come out and play. So now whenever he does it, I take him out to let him play and he has a great time! And of course he throws a wiggly beardie fit when I try to put him back in again! :lol:

Yeah, that sounds exactly like what Mohinder does every time I'm in my room. I figured it was nothing, but reading posts on here about those behaviors meaning gravid female got me all worried! Thank you!
