Thanks Amanda!! Her spine isn't curved like that it's just the way she is sitting.

Her legs do seem weak like when I hold her and a leg goes over the edge of my hand she just let's it lay almost limp, But she seems to walk okay so :dontknow:

Our Odahviing lets her leg(s) dangle when we hold her. When she was little she'd maneuver into my palm curve and a back leg would fall off. She'd just let it go, and it'd dangle. If I tickled her toes (yeah, I'm that kind of momma) she'd tuck it up, but she'd relax again. It'd slowly dangle down. Maybe she just doesn't NEED to tuck it up and is ok with letting it dangle. If you nudge her foot, and she brings it up then it may be she's just a relaxed lizard who realizes she got very, very lucky.

Today I have had Ruby for a week, I can't believe how the time flies!!! Poor girl is STILL pooping substrate, there was kind of a big chunk of it in there today! At least she's going though!!! She has gone 3 days in row and today I saw a larger bit of urate than I have seen before. I am hoping this means she is on the up and up! I am holding back on live foods till her bowel is clear of substrate. Hope she get all that junk out of her system!!!!

Good grief!!! Just keeps coming out of her! Still, I cannot even imagine how pleased you must be. Out is a million times better then stuck, like you said, and urate means hydration so that's good. Seriously, ^5 Momma!!

Poor girl, it will eventually all come out but it takes some time! I am sure though, she is feeling much better with it all passing through her. :shock:
How is her appetite coming along now? I hope she is doing well for you.
If her urates are increasing, then her kidneys are working much better now!

Sorry I haven't updated. Yesterday was the last day of the semester and I had soooooo much work to do for finals this past week! :| Ruby is doing great! She consistently passing urate and I don't see any substrate in her bowel. Her poop is pretty runny but I would imagine that's because most of her meals are still soft. I gave her her first live food yesterday, well second live food, she had 2 wax worms before I decided not to feed her live. She ate a little horn worm and loved it!! Gobbled it up. :mrgreen: I also ordered some phoenix worms that should be here today or tomorrow. I am going to feed her soft bodied worms for a week see how she does and then I might try a small dubia. I finally got my scale in! It took forever and then I kept forgetting to get batteries for the silly thing. So at 2+ years Ruby Sprinkles weighs in @ 131grams :? poor girl. I wish i had a scale when I got her, but I can tell she is gaining. She is starting to get a little tummy on her.

She looks a little mad, but she shed her sides and is showing really pretty color on her sides.

I took this on last night, I couldn't resist!! It is the way she is laying but look at that tummy!!!

Thanks guys!!! It's only been 2 weeks and there is such a difference in her!!! When I got her I was fully prepared to re-home her, but now I think I am reconsidering. She is just too dang cute!!! :mrgreen:

I wanted to chime in on the probiotics, I order mine from www.bug-de-lite.com (Tracie's site) She has all sorts of helpful stuff! Both my boys attack the syringe when I give them their acidophiliz+. It is specially formulated for reptiles and boy do they love the taste!
