Thanks for asking, Tracie, no, they haven't bothered her before. I could understand if it was locally purchased supers as when we bought them from the local pet store before, you would have to check them before you bought them as a lot of the time half of them were dead. We purchased them from Mulberry Farms. We like to purchase from them as if we don't need 1,000 we can get a smaller amount, also shipping is cheaper from them. There is another place we used to purchase from but all we could get that we use is crickets and 1,000 superworms. Speedy did eat the supers the same day and didn't get sick. Unless it was just a random one super that was bad but I didn't see any super worms that were bad. I have no idea where this came from. Goldie is fine. The only time she was sick was several months ago when she was overly hungry and ate 9 supers whole. That upset her stomach and she threw all of them up the next am. She did drink water that time, tho Goldie never drinks water, she has to be really, really dehydrated before she drinks water.
Rosie is feeling better, in fact we just got back from town and her
black beard and black tail is gone. She isn't 100% but I know that will take a day or two. Thankfully Bill is home with them all day. Just after I posted the first post this am, I took the large water dish we had left over from Miss O and Miss Y, which is large enough for their body. If I had one of Barbara's extra large babies, it, maybe would fit one half of the body portion. That did help her. I put her to bask for awhile with her heat and mega ray on, then awhile later we took them out side in the sun for an hour and that also helped.
