My little one is not a big fan of crickets and having trouble getting any locusts that are the right size in th eUK.
I am working on the wife to let me get roaches and have found one place in the UK that sell them, I have read lots on here about Dubias but he is out of stock I have 3 questions:

1) Anyone had any experiance with Turkistan roaches? (wife dont mind the look of them as they dont look like roaches)
2) Do you still have to work on the no bigger than the width of the eyes?
3) Any other food sources I can feed him??

Loki is about 11 weeks old, 6inches long and weighs 13gms.

Thanks in advance.

The Turks are very roachy looking actually, nothing like the dubias which look more like rolly pollies/woodlice/pillbugs. They are very fast on their feet as well, so definitely more of a roachy roach. With that being said, they are 200x better than crickets. ;)

Yes, the same rule about the width between the eyes still applies with them, as they do have an exoskeleton, though they have much more meat to that exoskeleton.

As far as the other sources, look into various types of worms such as Phoenix worms, silkworms, etc. I don't have experience with them, but avoid the mealworms, as they are not healthy. Superworms can be used once your dragon gets closer to adulthood.
