Thanks for all the help everyone. I guess I will try out the UTH if I can convince my mom to let me get them. She seems to be falling in. Then i will order them from the roach guy.

i looked for a human heating pad but cant find one without the auto shut off.

Mine is 15 years old, I think the newer ones are required to have the auto shut off, try looking at a garage sale, maybe you can find an older one?

I found this one on Amazon.com. No auto shut off. I just placed my order for it.

Only place I could find a human heating pad without the auto shutoff was at Walgreens. And it was the cheaper one. LOL There is one very similar but it has the auto shut off.
