I just sorted all my babies out from my adults for the first time since late November... I didn't think to get a picture of all the babies, but I took a few pictures, and one of all the adults. Just wondering if anyone could estimate how many I might have (and tell me what to do with them since my dragon doesn't eat them anymore!)

All the adults:

(lots of them are piled on top of each other there, it'd be nice if they all spread out smooth and even, right? lol!)

There were more, but like I said, I forgot to take a picture before I dumped all the babies into another bin and they ran and hid. This was three months' worth of babies from at least 50 adult females... I don't know what to do with them!

You could send em to me. I bought a 1000 small nymphs and then a baby leatherback and we need to get more, lol that was a month ago.

I'd estimate 300 in the top picture but it can be difficult to know with out actually counting them. I'd take out about half of the males, you don't need that many taking up space and eating all your food.
Try selling the extras on craigslist or see if any local petstores might want some.

If you are comfortable with shipping them that would be the best bet. I can always take them off your hand and pay for them if you want. Craigslist like mentioned is also a good place to sell unless people keep flagging you.

You may try feeding the roaches differently(more holistically) and reintroduce them after a while - you lizard may eat them again.

More holistically? I'm not sure what that means. I feed them cat food, oats, cheerios (off-brand, unsweetened), and lots of fruit.

I've never shipped anything living before. If I do decide to sell some, it won't be until the weather around here is a little bit more consistent... It's been anywhere from 25 degrees to 60 in the past week here. What would I need to do if I wanted to ship them?
Thanks!

The first picture looks like about 200.

No clue on the smaller ones though.

By holistic , I mean organic, all natural, cat food and other natural food which would supply all those trace minerals/nutrients.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
