Wow, she could lay up to 35 eggs, so see how she's doing & let me know! Hopefully she'll be done soon, after all this is her first time!

she did eat some after she rested for a bit. and she feels so much lighter.

She'll gain her weight back quickly & she sure made big eggs! Isn't it amazing the work they go through? I'm glad it's over and I'm glad she's ok, she sure looks funny looking up after laying, she's such a cutie!

she was just looking at me like "ok, all done! did i do good?"
i also had to delay my plans to go out today b/c i had to sit next to her for the entire process >.<

and i couldn't believe the size of those eggs!

What we do for our babies! And yes, those eggs are big, which explains why she's feeling so light. Dont' forget she needs alot of extra calcium in the days to come to make up for what she used to make those eggs. Any questions, just ask. And that's what I thought, too, when I saw that picture "Did I do good?"
