Hi guys,
Not really a rescue. But technically its from a chain store, so it should be considered a rescue.
Long story short, I was walking through Petsmart last night and I happen to notice a very unusual beardie....a leatherback. Well i asked to hold him/her and absolutely fell in love. I know its a horrible idea to take another Petsmart beardie home after what happened to my Nova but I can't stand the fact that someone else with no bearded dragon experience could take him/her home and not give the little one the life he/she deserves. Im going to pick the baby up in a few minutes, and everything is already set up for him/her.
Anyway, the baby is about 4.5 inches long and a little dehydrated. I was just wondering what I should get for him/her to help put some weight on it. I have about 500 micro supers, baby hornworms, dubia, and a few waxworms. Of course, I also have calcium with d3 and a multivitamin.
If I get baby food, what flavors should I get?
Anything else you guys would suggest? All advice is welcome.
