rescue beardies

Im about to rescue 2 red beadies which i dont know to much about apart from there not getting the right diet or lighting and are housed together they are very tame and have had 3 owners should i seperate these as soon as i can get another vivarium and what should i look out for to check how unwell they are? Im no expert but i cant bare the thought of them been mistreat so thats the only reason im getting them I do have a very spoilt healthy 8month male who is doing really well!

Yes, separate them ! Several reasons. You will need to observe them separately for sorting out poor husbandry issues. You will want them separate in case of parasites or other nasties. Separate as dragons are solitary animals only coming together for the purpose of mating.

I would also keep them in a different room from your existing dragon, and always always wash your hands before going to the next animal.

Check Craigslist in your area for a cheap tank, that is large enough for one. If you need extra lighting, give me a PM, as I have a couple of brand new ReptiSun 10.0s.
