ReptiSun 10.0 T12 Bulb.

So I got my bulb finally.. go to put it in my fixture which is rated for T8 and turns out the bulb is a T12... man was I angry.. this is all I'm waiting for to finish my new enclosure and get my guy in there.. What do I need to do now? Return the bulb and ask for the same one but as T8? Or return the fixture, unwire it all and get a T12 fixture? Help!!!

T12 Fixtures ca run T8's don't know about the other way around. Oddly neough I am having hte opposite problem as you, I ordered a Reptisun 10 and it came as a T8, it usually comes as a T12, not worried about it fitting, and it works fine I'm just curious as to the quality of the smaller sized bulb, I haven't heard anything about the changeover affacting performance, but it has with other bulbs in the past.
