Anyone ever had trouble with shipping from them?
its been over a week, and still nothing. no tracking number, nothing.

im a bit worried, because my previous mvb went out, so thats when i ordered a mega ray.
The climate here is too cold to take my beardie outside, so shes been going a week without uvb.

i dont know what to do.... my school hours conflict with their business hours, so my moms going to be calling them tomorrow.
but yeah :(

kinda frustrated.
 
I ordered on a tuesday and one week later they shipped it out I never got a tracking number or anything but they do only ship out one day a week and maybe more if they have more orders but I read something about this on their site I would give them a call but I bet you will see it by the weekend

It looks like all the SB series MegaRays are back ordered right now. The website shows they have the EB series in stock, they are more $ though. Call Bob and see what he can do

but at the time i ordered it, the website did not state a backorder.
if after i ordered it, the item got backordered, they should have contacted me or something....
but they didnt.

yeah, i wish they would state the day of the week they send things.
im guessing monday?
hopefully ill get it by friday though...

ive just had THE worst luck with mercury vapor bulbs.
i got a sunforce from bigappleherp.com and after 2 months it went out, followed by maybe 3 solar glos? from this local reptile shop.
those things just kept going out on me. after about a week of having them.
i feel bad for my little guys :(

When I needed one I called the number listed on the site. They were out and my delivery was delayed, but upon talking to the woman she quickly helped get one to me right away. It does state on their website that due to the fact they create a superior light(which they do), that sometimes the manufacturer cannot keep up with the demand. It does make sense due to the fact that a lot of people are starting to get wind of their products. I would definately call them and tell them your plight. They are helpful if they can be. In the meantime you should go and get a floodlamp that will at least produce needed heat until the MVB arrives

yeah. i have a normal heat lamp on.
but no uvb.

i figured my girl is healthy and not gravid or anything, so she could do without for a week or so.
but i hope it doesnt have to continue.
 
The day they shipped it out to me was on Tuesday!
I talked to Brenda from Reptileuv on Tuesday because they did my address wrong and I caught it in time so she changed it before it was sent out.

Same thing happened to me, I ordered a MegaRay the beginning of October when there was no mention of any back order. After two weeks and a few calls/emails, they showed up as back ordered on the website, I got through to a person on the phone and heard it would be another few weeks.
Didn't end up getting the MegaRay until the middle of November.
I completely understand the demand was greater than the supply, but customer service goes a long way. Even a general, canned email to everyone that was waiting would have been nice.

Still the best MVB available though.. :mrgreen:

well we'll call and if they are like its on backorder, ill just ask for a refund.

because there is no way i can wait like a friggin month for one to come.

If they do only ship on one day a week, it is Friday. I ordered mine on a Friday and I got it on Monday. That quick. If they are on back order, they should have told you right away. I would give them a call, and if they can't ship it immediately, I would ask for a refund.

They have been on back order for awhile, I ordered mine 2 months back, it was already on backorder at that time, maybe you missed it?

I ordered the 160watt instead which wasnt on back order and just lowered down my basking spot to create more distance. You can call them and ask them to change it to 160 instead since your place gets very cold anyway.

Wooops, I just checked on their site, they are also on back order on the 160 already. I think 275 is too much for a tank setup.

but we called.

and its not that they didnt have anything to send me, they completly forgot about my order.

my mom goes, "have you guys even sent it?"
and the ladys like "no...." all quietly and mumbling. like she was embarrassed.

really made me mad. because i could have ordered another one from petmountain.com or something and would have had it by now.

and my girl has had no uvb, but reptileuv.com refunded my money, and i had to go and spend 80 dollars at the friggin pet store.

Yikes, that really sucks. I had a good experience with reptileuv.com... Hopefully it was an isolated incident.

Overall, I'm glad you got a bulb, though (dang overpriced pet stores, poo!)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
