Regrowing a nail? It was bitten off completely though

So when I got Gamma he was missing the very tip of some of his fingers and toes, probably from when he was housed with many dragons as a baby.

Just now though I noticed a TINY TINY TINY nail like thing sticking out of one of those fingers? Is this something that is possible?

If just the nail was nipped off, then yes, they can regrow.

But would it takes such a long time to do so? None of the other nails are growing back and it seemed like the tip of his finger was taken

If the nail bed i there it is a good possibility it will grow back fully. but if it is missing with the tip of the finger Im afraid it is gone. Regardless, it wouldn't bother your beardie too much, bet he eats as much as he did today the next morning.

This is true =) I just want to make sure my lizard is not being kept from the scientific community incase he is more evolved than the others. One never knows
