Hi everyone! I have an almost 6 month old 10 inch long bearded dragon named Bear (assuming he's a boy, I don't know for sure). The other day after I fed him a salad with red pepper and collard greens, he pooped the biggest poop I had ever seen in my entire life! What worried me the most was there was some redness in it, and it was a little bit runny. He had also eaten lots of crickets before then (50!) and drank some water off the tip of his nose. I may just be paranoid, but I want to be sure that he doesn't have internal bleeding or something like that :( I have also attached pictures of him, his setup, and his poop... sorry to those who get queasy easily.

Any help or advice is appreciated! :)

pretty sure that's just some undigested red pepper. I wouldn't worry. and the only thing I'd do different with your setup is get that uvb more over the basking spot.

Hello,

I completely agree, that is not any blood, but red pepper. Sometimes those types of vegetables don't fully digest & pass through in pieces. He should be just fine.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
