Red in Poop??? (Warning: Pictures)

Hi everyone! I have an almost 6 month old 10 inch long bearded dragon named Bear (assuming he's a boy, I don't know for sure). The other day after I fed him a salad with red pepper and collard greens, he pooped the biggest poop I had ever seen in my entire life! What worried me the most was there was some redness in it, and it was a little bit runny. He had also eaten lots of crickets before then (50!) and drank some water off the tip of his nose. I may just be paranoid, but I want to be sure that he doesn't have internal bleeding or something like that I have also attached pictures of him, his setup, and his poop... sorry to those who get queasy easily.







Any help or advice is appreciated!

pretty sure that's just some undigested red pepper. I wouldn't worry. and the only thing I'd do different with your setup is get that uvb more over the basking spot.

Hello,

I completely agree, that is not any blood, but red pepper. Sometimes those types of vegetables don't fully digest & pass through in pieces. He should be just fine.
