Hello! I recently adopted my friend’s lizard she could no longer afford. She said she had him for about 8 months, so I’d assume he’s about 9 months old!

I did quite a bit of research before hand, and have a good set up!

My big question is, is there anything I can do to make the change less stressful?

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure your viv is already set up and running at correct temperatures and humidity.

Then place the little one on the viv, and leave him/her alone for a couple days so the dragon can get used to his new digs and surroundings. But it really depends on the dragon, both of my re-homes had zero transition stress, but I followed my own advice as per above. The transition was easy, as both of them seemed to go with the flow.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
