It is about time I make a picture thread for my big babies Frank and Sunny. I'll start with Frank since he's the oldest and our first dragon, my first reptile. He's supposedly a red leather back, he looked just like that as a baby, but now he's more of a citrus dragon. It's baffling because his parents are both red, none the less we love him to pieces! I believe he's about 11 months old, he's 18.5 inches from nose to tail I don't have an accurate weight on him he's still gaining weight after brumation. Yup he brumated this year, We thought he was sick or something horrible but the vet confirmed it. Spring fever has been awesome with him, and by awesome I mean insane! Frank is attached to my boyfriend and just absolutely loves him. He gets so excited when my boyfriend walks in the room, he will only snuggle with him, and won't allow anyone but him to hand feed him! He will only sit still for my boyfriend and chill with him, other wise he's on the go all over the house, he thinks he owns the place. Frank lovessss attention, whenever we take him to the shop to get feeders or just show him off, heck even at the vet he puts on his happy bright colors and sits proud until the crowds form. The funniest thing he ever did was a young man was holding him and was about to stroke Frank's tail when Frank whipped him with his tail. The kid tried again to stroke his tail and again Frank whipped him and then jumped over to Dad!! It was so funny! Sometimes he plays with his food by whipping it across the cage and trying to catch it in mid air, it's the craziest little game he plays. Ok you've suffered enough here's Frank!!

So theres more to come of Frank but lets talk about Sunny now. She's one of Tom's babies, her hatch date is 8-10-11, she's a citrus leather back and my fat little princess. In the beginning it was a lot of work to get her to calm down and get used to us. She was super healthy and alert, but I had to work with her every day for hours a day to get her to allow me to stick my hand in her cage, then slowly move towards picking her up and taking her out of the cage. Somewhere along the way we formed an incredible bond and the night she snuggled with me for the first time I melted. She's the sweetest little chubster and loves attention and people. Infact right now she's sitting with me on the bed behind me on a stack of pillows with her head on my shoulder watching tv! I love her so much she's the best. Sunny is a hussy when it comes to the boys though, as my Mom calls her. She loves to tease Frank, so bad sometimes I have to cover his cage with a towel while she's roaming the house in fear of him hurting himself when she comes around! So here's miss Sunny I haven't measured her in a while or weighed her, but I do know she's stopped growing in length and is continuing to grow wider hahaha!

That's right I remember talking to you on your thread about our babies both being from Tom. He breeds some amazing little dragons, not only is their color awesome, but the personalities are perfect as well. How is your little guy doing, Mr Bebop right?

Thank you Harry 102. I love my fat princess. Her colors when she's all fired up are awesome, her beard has like a neon orange tinge to it. She's stunning and the most beautiful dragon to me!

Thank you so much. Frank was definitely a surprise the way he turned out. I thought a red leather back was supposed to be well red?! None the less we love him to pieces just the same. Sunny always looks so peaceful and content when she sleeps on me. It's almost as if she's smiling. I love her so much!

Thank you Dooter! Yeah when I found Sunny in the log like that I was laughing so hard! I took a bunch of pictures before I attempted to get her out. She's a plump girl it was a good 5min to get her free, and she was patient and knew I was helping her. hahaha I found their stuffies at the dollar store, Frank has a horsey and Sunny has an elephant. They both love them and Sunny actually plays with hers.

Bad Sunny! LOL! We have a 'tease' dragon, too. That behavior is funny and annoying, wonder if it will slow down later in the year? I wish my dragons would 'watch' TV with us. They just don't seem to notice the TV, but they still chill with us. The baby pics are great to see in the same post as the older pics for comparison - they were so teensy when you got them! I love Frank's bright color.

The teasing absolutely drives me crazy sometimes, others I don't even notice it just depends on the day I'm having. Although lately Sunny has been going head to head with Frank for the Alpha dragon role so to speak. I think she's had enough of him roaming in front of her cage and stopping to put on his manly display. Now she does it right back to him, she's such a diva! She's being a little snot today, she's so stubborn she keeps trying to jump off my bed on to the table where Lulu my leopard gecko is so she can terrorize her. I move her to the other side of the bed and does it all over again, So here I am sitting the dark on my bed with the computer in my lap just so Sunny will settle down and chill out and watch tv next to me. Something about her and darkness, it calms her right down. I will let Frank know you like his colors, thank you! He looks good in yellow hahaha! I'm going to post some pictures later in the week, I'm always taking pictures of them so I have a ton. Does anyone know if there's a photobucket app for smart phones? It would make my life so much easier to upload pictures off my phone, which is the only camera I have...pathetic I know. I need a great camera so I can take pictures of the kids, the scaley ones that is they're the only kids I have.

I'm totally slacking on the pictures, I've been so busy, but I've got a lot of new pictures. Hopefully by this weekend I'll be able to sit down and upload all of them. The spring fever has been driving me crazy with the battle for dominance between Frank and Sunny. I was wondering if someday I'd be able to have them out for play time at the same time, but there's just no chance in hell that's ever going to be possible. I mean if they get a glimpse of each other all hell breaks loose and the beards and bobbing begin.. It's funny though because Frank doesn't react at all to Baby Chloe, and Sunny gets excited to see her like she wants to play with her. Maybe someday Sunny and Chloe can play together when Chloe gets to be a big girl like miss Sunny. I've got to weigh Sunny too she's huge I can't believe how big she is, she's heavy too!! I know it's not funny but lately everytime she gets spooked or scared she runs to me for safety and it's the sweetest silliest thing. She doesn't just run over to where I am and stay by me, no no no she makes a beeline for me and runs up to my face and buries her head in my hair. If she can't climb up to my face she tries to dig and get underneath me, it takes me a good 10 minutes to calm her down and remove her nails from being embedded in to me! hahaha She's such a little scaredy cat but I love her to death!! I promise by this weekend I'll post pics of Frank and Sunny. Enjoy your night!!

The next several are some I took while he was in a good mood playing in his enclosure, he can be so silly..

Alrighty now we'll switch to Miss Sunny my fat princess. She's really in to snuggling and some crazy sleeping positions lately! I had to take pictures to show you of course..

These next few are of her sleeping in the piles of laundry the other day as I was organizing to do laudry, she swears she was helping but I clearly have the evidence!

The last few are her being her adorable self in her enclosure. She loves hanging out on her hammock for most of the day.

That's it for now! Hope you enjoyed looking at my beautiful babies. They bring me so much joy everyday. Sunny is calming down finally with the head bobbing and aggression towards Frank. Now she does this weird slow bob/push up, it's kinda funny. Frank still head bobs at her but he doesn't go as crazy in his cage when she's out for play time. Tomorrow we are actually redoing their cages. I'm tired of the peat substrate, we decided to go with linoleum. When they had tile they were slipping and sliding everywhere and didn't seem to thrilled. When we finish I'll take some more pictures and post em. Please leave some comments and let me know what you think of the pictures. I feel like I'm talking to myself, that's ok though...I usually do anyway hahaha..
