If I put my dragon on my window ledge will she get enough uv light etc? Because she loves looking out the window etc etc i was wondering because when its cloudy etc, her old owners used to get her out a lot of the time in sun etc on window ledges etc i wana know if its ok, she's fully health and don't want her unwell, plus it's like 29c in are apartment so it's warm enough lol

She will get almost no UVB if you put her next to a closed window. The glass filters out the UVB.

Oh ok well what about when she's out in my flat running about what if she's in the garden ?

If it's outside in direct sunlight, then yes she will get UVB. If she's inside your house, unless she's under the UVB in her tank, she will not get UVB.

Oh ok that sucks coz I let her out for 2-3 hours a day to roam about and investigate lol

You do realize that the only way she gets UVB is from a special UVB bulb, right? Like the one you should have for her tank. Anything else is just lighting for her.

Yeah I have the correct set up etc its just I let her out a lot and now I don't want to but I feel bad leaving her on her tank all day it's not massive

Just over 4 foot

If it's 4ft long, then it's more than adequate for the dragon...Depending on if it's wide enough for the dragon to turn around in.

Oh sorry yea it's 4by2by2 feet she is just over a foot long tho

A lot of people let their dragons roam...But they still need UVB and heat...

So I would assume that if you let them roam, You would want to do it for no more than a couple hours a day so they can still get the UVB and heat they need.
