question bout dubia breeding

soo im just wondering... three days ago i bought 6 dubia roaches 4 females and 2 males to strat a colony. (CRICKETS SUCK!). when i came home today i saw the male attached to the female and when i went to throw cherrios in (for food) the female dubia and the male dubia looked stuck together (looked like their butts were glued together lol) were they breeding?? and also can they breed wihout a heatmat caause i dont have one but tht room where they are is about 80 degrees F helpp!

Yes, they were breeding. They will bred at 80 but not as fast and if you can, try and get more adults, 6 will take forever to get a colony going.

i am trying to find somewhere i can order adult roaches to breed but most people are saying liek 200 for 50 lol i dont want tht many!!!!

Look through the For Sale section of this website. Some people are selling them in smaller quantities, and if you ask they will give you the exact amount you want.

That isn't really enough to start a colony either.... well it is but it will take a long time.

If you are on a budget like me get what you can, even if you go with mixed sizes to get going. Beardies live a long time when cared for properly. So do what it takes to get where you want to be even if its slower than others think it should be. You can always come here and pay $5 to sell the extras later Folks who don't want to or are unable to raise their own will always need a good source to feed their beardie! Just add a few here and there and now and then sell a bunch so you can get some from someone else for fresh bloodlines.
